 ip.net\n\n"A ram-jam barrage of 50s rock'n' roll mania\, shot through with
punk venom\, 'All Cranked Up' is one of the most energising things you'll
  hear all year" - Classic Rock Mag\n\n- - - - - - - -\n\nFollowing a sold-
out show at London's The Lexington\, which saw fans queuing round the bloc
k to get in\, His Lordship\, the new project from guitarist James Walbourn
e (The Pretenders\, The Pogues\, The Rails) and Kristoffer Sonne (Chrissie
Hynde\, Willie Nelson) have announced their debut EP of original material
‘All Cranked Up'\, and release the title track with its brilliant accom
panying video\, directed by Nadia Marquard Otzen and starring Thea Carla S
chøtt\, out now: https://li.sten.to/hlallcrankedup\n\nThe ‘All Cranked
Up' EP is a 6 -track collection that epitomises the ups and downs of the l
ast 2 years. An explosion of energy and frustration\, it is the sound of W
albourne fully unleashed as a frontman. The EP also arrives with artwork b
y legendary photographer Red Saunders\, one of the founders of the Rock Ag
ainst Racism movement in the mid 70s.\n\nSpeaking about the single\, His L
ordship says\;\n\n"It's 5am. All cranked up with nowhere to go. Here we ar
e again. Jerry Lee Lewis and Iggy Pop wrestling in the hallway. Englebert
Humperdink trying to break things up. Little Richard swinging on a chandel
ier\, laughing. Through the haze I get up to make a cup of tea and trip on
an overflowing ashtray. The music is loud\, the options are few. I'm all
cranked up with nowhere to go."\n\nHaving already made an indelible mark o
n London's live scene with their furious combination of raging guitar and
perverted drums\, the duo are also set to embark on a UK tour in July 2022
\, guaranteed to be the hottest tickets in town and absolutely not to be m
 issed.
