Grab a seat for Birmingham’s only elimination comedy showdown. A glorious night of mayhem as a fresh collection of performers compete to survive the audience vote in increasingly difficult challenges set by the directors.

Every month we round up ten intrepid comedians, actors and improvisers and challenge them to wow the audience with scenes, songs or poems made up on the spot. Fail to impress and they’re eliminated, succeed and the challenges just get harder. Only one performer can survive … to be crowned The Maestro.

1000 Trades’ bar offers a constantly changing range of cask ales, craft beers, and natural wines, while the kitchen rotates in guest chefs for an ever changing menu. This month sees the folks behind Tiger Bites Pig and Tierra bring a brand new menu of Korean street food. (Served till 9).

Show 7:30 – 9:30 upstairs at 1000 Trades, Jewellery Quarter. Maestro entry is free. Pay-what-you-think-it’s-worth bucket (suggested donation £5) helps fund Birmingham Improv Festival.
