Okay music-lovers – this one’s for you. A full weekend from one of Birmingham’s favourite promoters, ram-packed with some of the best music on offer in the city! Expect a plethora of awesome live artists, from Britpop through to indie, rock & roll and psych – there’s something for everyone here!
Alongside the brilliant music, there’ll be cocktails, good beer on draught and delish street food in the mix – what more could we want?
Music wise they’ve really got it all covered off, with up-beat, beachy indie-pop on the Friday from headliners Riscas, catchy indie-poppers The Assist, indie pop-rock trio Spilt Milk Society, Social State mixing it up with a bit of indie rap, alt-rockers Echo Beach, and finally a DJ set from members of Swim Deep to finish off the night.
Next up the Saturday bill-toppers Ivory Wave are set to headline with their groove-laden, garage sound, along with genre-blurrers Sugarthief, female-fronted punk act The Cosmics, Violet, ex Swim Deep member Wolfgang Harte, The Novus, Karkosa and Sleepy Heads. Plus for the Saturday there’ll be a secret DJ set promising our favourite alternative bangers well into the wee hours of the morning!
Finally, capping off a seriously top-notch weekend of music, Sunday will bring with it indie, alt and rock ‘n’ roll, with Harry Jordan of Harry and the Howlers fame, The Surrenders, The Goodwater, Bad Girlfriend, newbies Cave Girl, P.E.T, Wood and Nails and History of Sex. Phew! What a line-up?!
