The greatest amateur film festival in the UK, organised by IAC – the Film and Video Institute.
The British International Amateur Film Festival (BIAFF) is the UK’s biggest film festival for amateur filmmaking.
Spanning seven days, the Festival includes:
- Online evening cinemas (Monday to Wednesday online only) – screenings of selected films from this year’s competition
- The IAC Peter Coles International AV Competition, Winners’ Show (online only)- a collection of the best AV sequences this year
- The Friday Evening Cinema – an evening of films entered into this year’s competition at the Crescent Theatre, Birmingham UK
- The Saturday Cinema – an all day cinema presenting more films entered into this year’s competition at the Crescent Theatre, Birmingham UK
- The Award Winners’ Show (all day Sunday 14th April), showing the very best films from the competition, including our Diamond and category award winners, and announcing the winners of our two major awards: The Best British Entry, and The Best in Competition. With opportunities to watch great films and to meet and network with filmmakers from around the UK and beyond, this is a film festival like no other.
